In October 2010 when Wikileaks released a batch of 400 000 documents called the “Iraq War logs”, mainstream newspapers, which included the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe in USA, Le Monde in France, and The Guardian in the United Kingdom, joined the fray. Wikileaks was a trove for liberal journalists as it provided them unlimited ammunition in order to mock and destroy George Walker Bush’s legacy.

Six years later in October 2016, Wikileaks is faithful to its rendezvous. However, mainstream media are no more enthusiastic to enter the fray. Is the new trove of emails released by Wikileaks not worthwhile for raising the scrutiny of people concerning the discriminating practices of a political party?

the inconsistency of the democrat camp

The Watergate scandal was a clandestine operation led by the Nixon administration in order to rig the outcome of the 1972 presidential election. The Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, DC, was bugged by a team of “plumbers”. Richard Nixon resigned when the Congress, alarmed by the scandal, launched an impeachment procedure against him.

The Obama administration is also trying to fix the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. The US Attorney general Loretta Lynch met secretely former president Bill Clinton at the tarmac of Sky Harbor International airport in Phoenix to discuss the investigation led by F.B.I on the email scandal of his wife. However, the collusion between the Justice Department and a former democrat president has only raised eyebrows of liberal journalists.

Contrary to Nixon who was forced to act secretly, Obama does not hide his proclivity of influencing the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. He has often said in public that Donald Trump was not qualified for the job. Worse, he has said it at a G20 summit and other international meeting where foreign leaders repeated after him that “they were profoundly worried by the candidacy of the populist candidate.

The democrat president is asking for the approval and the interference of foreign leaders in the American campaign when it fits his agenda but he and Hillary Clinton are denouncing now the alleged intervention of Russia in favor of Donald Trump. Nobody has noticed the inconsistency of the democrat camp.

Michelle Obama has replaced, at short notice, Hillary Clinton at the campaign meeting held in Fairfax, Virginia, after the democrat candidate fainted during the commemoration of September 11’s attack in New York City. I let you imagine the reaction of mainstream media if Laura Bush had done the same thing in favor of John McCain in the 2008 presidential campaign.

The collusion of mainstream media

In the trove of emails stolen to John Podesta’s gmail account by Wikileaks, many of them heighten the collusion between the democrat candidate and mainstream media. Mark Leibovich, a journalist from the New York Times, submitted his articles to Hillary Clinton who edited them before their publication at a convenient time. … Another collaborator of the democrat campaign is John Harwood from NBC. He was so eager to promote her campaign that he bragged in an email of attacking Donald Trump, at short notice, whereas he was supposed to play the impartial moderator between the two contenders.

Unfortunately, Leibovich and Harwood are not isolated cases of partisanship and hypocrisy. Therefore the title of my article “the inconvenient truth” because the ethic of mainstream media is flexible, accommodating, and multifaceted to say the least. It is another textbook of double standard, which shows beyond doubt that the 2016 presidential campaign is rigged by mainstream media and Obama government.

The 2016 presidential campaign is a fight between the “deplorable” people against the vain establishment

“Grapes of Wrath,” the masterpiece of the 1962’s Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck, was adapted to the cinema by John Ford in 1940. It ends with that memorable quote of Ma Joad, the matriarch of the Joad family.

Rich fellas come up an’ they die, an’ their kids ain’t no good an’ they die out. But we keep a’comin’. We’re the people that live. They can’t wipe us out; they can’t lick us. We’ll go on forever, Pa, ’cause we’re the people.

The Nobel Prize of literature for 2016 is an insult to distinguished writers

It has been awarded to the singer Robert Allen Zimmerman, better known from the public under his alias Bob Dylan. The Swedish academy has justified its choice by saying that “Bob Dylan has created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.

The choice of the Swedish academy is very controversial and its timing on the eve of an important American election is highly suspicious. This award is an insult to two distinguished American writers such as Philip Roth and Cormac McCarty, to the British writer Ian McEwan, to the Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk, to the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami or to the Czech-born writer Milan Kundera who has written in French since his naturalization in 1981.

What do you expect from a liberal academy who has awarded the 2009 Peace Nobel Prize to Barack Hussein Obama who had barely started a diplomatic career? The credibility of the Swedish academy is in tatters. But who cares in a world dominated by the hypocrisy of the liberal elite?
